Callheard asks the questions your best dispatcher would, so you show up with the right parts.

Why owners switch.

Every option has a cost. Voicemail's cost is the jobs that call the next plumber on the list.

Will callers know it's AI?
It sounds natural and gets to the point, so most calls just feel like a good front desk. If a caller asks, it always says it's an AI assistant for your business. It never pretends to be a person, and it can hand the call to you at any time.
What if it gets something wrong?
Every call is recorded and transcribed, so you can check it. Tap "Flag mistake" on any call, type what it should have said, and Callheard uses that from the next call on. It only quotes prices you've set. If it isn't sure, it takes a message instead of guessing.
Can I keep my number?
Yes. You keep your number, your phone and your carrier. You dial a short forwarding code, and only the calls you don't pick up go to Callheard. Dial another code to turn it off.
What happens with a real emergency?
You choose the trigger words, like "flooding," "gas smell" or "no heat." When a caller says one, Callheard transfers them live to your on-call number. If nobody picks up, it tells the caller what happens next and texts you right away.
How long does setup take?
About three minutes. We read your website to learn your services, service area and hours. You check the details, pick a voice, make a test call, then forward your line. We can verify the forwarding for you.
Does it work with my calendar and software?
It books into Google Calendar. Connections for Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Zapier are in development, and we'll tell founding customers first when each one is ready.
What if I run out of minutes?
Callheard keeps answering. Extra minutes are $0.25 each, and we text you when you hit 80% of your plan so there are no surprises. You can change plans anytime.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month, or yearly if you want two months free. Start with a 7-day free trial and cancel anytime from your dashboard.
Will I pay for spam and robocalls?
No. Known spam and robocalls are screened out in the first few seconds and don't count toward your minutes. You can still see them in your call log.
What about my customers' information?
Call recordings, transcripts and customer details belong to you. We use them to run your front desk and nothing else. We don't sell data, and you can export or delete it at any time.
